Thank you for visiting my gallery.

The scenes I paint speak to me and I like to think of them
as poems or songs. They are uniquely personal reflections
and a culmination of all my life experiences and all the
people and places I have known.

As a painter I feel that I have been blessed with a passion
for art which enriches my life as well as the lives of others.
Because I work mostly outdoors (en plein air), my
paintings are done quickly in order to capture a fleeting
moment in time. Painting this way is exhilarating and
allows me to see with a fresh perspective. My goal is to
give the viewer the same experience of temperature,
atmosphere, sights and sounds that I feel while I am
painting.

The roots of this style are found in Impressionist painters
such as Monet and Renoir and Post-Impressionist painters
Van Gogh and Cezanne.

On my site you will have the opportunity to view my
paintings. You may purchase any piece exhibited. I have
separated them into major areas where I have spent time
painting. They include California, France, Italy and other
areas which include Portugal, Spain and Greece. Please
use the links at the top left of each page to view the various
areas within the site.

All my paintings are done using the finest quality of canvas
and oil paints.
